JLR Assembly Plant
In 2019, we have worked on the first phase of the Jaguar Land Rover Assembly Plant in Industrial Park Nitra, Slovakia.
The first stage of construction of assembly plant Darwin for Jaguar Land Rover in Industrial Park Nitra, Slovakia consisted of rough landscaping, relief of the site from existing networks and site preparation for the future construction of a production plant. In geological terms, the site was rated as difficult and conditionally suitable.
Four-meter thick compressible layer of plastic clays was located under the topsoil. We needed to carry out the reconstruction of this layer, thus eliminating subsidence and increase the bearing capacity of the subsoil. A gravel pile system was embedded in the ballast bed situated under the layer of clay. Subsequently, the layered mound of rubble stone was constructed on the level of the implementation site.
